NextGen donates 100% of its net profits to schools and charities
All electricity retailers buy energy from the wholesale market and sell it at a higher price. The difference in price is used to cover their company expenses, to leave a margin for unexpected costs and to grow the business. Any left over, the profit, is typically distributed among the company shareholders as a dividend.
NextGen Energy is different, as we’re not working to make money for shareholders.
Instead, we carefully balance the amount we charge you, our customers, on one hand to ensure that electricity remains affordable, and, on the other, the ability to earn enough to allow us to raise funds for community projects.
So, with your help, we can ensure your power bills make a real difference.
